The San Moritz series cutlery from Messermeister are one-piece fully forged from a single blank of steel. San Moritz knives feature a comfortable, contemporary, molded-POM handle (durable Polyoxymetholene) that's ergonomically designed for maximum comfort in the hand. Messermeister cutlery is made from high carbon no-stain molybdenum vanadium tool steel. The San Moritz and Meridian Elite series knives have the sharpest edges of all forged cutlery. An elaborate 3 step sharpening process is enhanced in it's final step by being carefully hand-polished. There's also a personalization plate for engraved initials. Messermeister was founded over a century ago in Solingen Germany. Gift boxed. Lifetime warranty from Messermeister plus free lifetime sharpening and reconditioning. Handcrafted in Germany.
